How early do I have to book?
We book up fast so we suggest booking a year to 2 years in advance to get the day you want.
Where do we start?
We will meet for a free initial consult to find out the style and look you want to achieve for your wedding day. You will then receive a decor proposal based on the info you give us at the consult. Once you secure your day with a deposit, you can email or call us at any time with questions or ideas for your wedding. We will then meet approximately 2-3 months before your wedding at my studio in Garrison, North Dakota to do a mockup of your wedding decor. This is a fun afternoon where we will look at different linens and centerpiece styles. I will then finalize your decor proposal. If needed, we can meet another time at the venue or ceremony site.
Are you a wedding planner?
We are not wedding planners. We are designers/decorators. A planner is someone who will work with you to find your venue and all your vendors, attend appointments with you including assisting you in picking out your bridal gown, flowers, invites, etc. As your decorator we will assist you with planning and designing your ceremony and reception and provide all needed décor for your day. But we can definitely help you with finding other vendors such as cake decorators, photographers, etc.
What are your deposit and payment terms?
A $500 deposit is required to secure the date. One-half of the final payment is required 4 weeks prior and we require payment in full one week prior to your event. We do not accept credit cards.
Do you have a minimum and what are your prices?
We do have a minimum package of 2450. We will do all the setup and tear down. For more detailed information see our pricing page.
What other charges will we incur?
All disposables such as candles, fresh flowers, ribbons, and anything that we cannot reuse will be an extra charge. These prices will all be stated up front and be included on the decor proposal we send you.
Where do you work and do you travel?
“I Do” has worked in the majority of venues in the Bismarck and Minot area. We have traveled to Bottineau, Montana, Medora and Fargo. Any travel over 10 miles will be an additional charge of 50 cents per mile round trip. Any travel beyond Minot/Bismarck will require a hotel stay charge.
Do you rent out your items?
We do not rent out any of our décor. Contact us and we can refer you to someone who does rent items.
